Bits & Pieces

We were invited to an Exhibition from Mahi’s school on Friday. The school sent us the most adorable invite and we went with nothing more to expect than a couple of paintings done by the little pre-schoolers.

When we reached there both me and my husband were taken aback by the display. It was so artistic and so meticulously done. I loved the fact how the educators made so much effort in making the  the kids explore so many different materials, techniques, tools and also the culture.

Being working parents you can never be there to regularly give a pat on your kid's back for making or creating something, neither you can see what they are doing in school, but this exhibition was such a great platform to see all the little art pieces that your child made through the months.

As we walked along, Mahi stood next to her creations and when asked to explain , she went on like a pro.

Creativity with the Nuts and bolts

Loved the idea where they had  the pictures of the Kids, playing next to all the displays on the Ipads  from when they were creating what was displayed.

Clay Birds Nest

We got a good explanation for this one from Mahi.. how thoughtfully she had one bowl for the food , one for the water and third for the toys  for the baby birds ..

My Personal favourite

Inspired by Moana the Movie, Mahi created this beautiful work of clay where she made the Boat, used the feather as the sail and the big Giant Maui. I loved the detailing as she has not missed to put a basket of fruits in the boat just for if the sail goes longer than expected.

Some more pictures from the beautiful evening ...

Mommies and Daddies went Awing all the way as they explored each and every corner which was set up as per the themes, material, and techniques.

It was just done so beautifully and was just pure Joy...
