You being sick, SUCKS!!
4:36 PM
My little baby had a rough ten days... the one day that she went to playschool she came back home with a fever which got worse in the night. It breaks our heart to see the active, chirpy little bird sitting all quiet and looking so unwell.
The temperatures sore up to 103.8 degrees and so did our nervousness!!
After an hour of cold strips on her forehead and medicine... missy was up and smiling. Little power houses, have so much energy..
We called the home doctor who arrived late in the evening and could not figure out the cause of fever. He instructed us to take her to the hospital immediately because her heart rate was quite up around a 199 and the fever still around 103 degrees..
God,was I nervous ! As soon as we went she was given a Panadol which got her fever down and her heart was continuously monitored. They also took a lung x ray but nothing was detected. Finally we were given the green flag to go home still unaware of the reason of this shooting fever..
Next day we went to our GP and they took a urine sample and yes it was UTI... My baby who never had fallen sick, was coughing , had fever and all these infections... too much for my little munchkin to go through in the past couple of months.
Posing at midnight :) Girls will be girls!!
As for you my little one , mommy and daddy are so proud of you for being so strong... Not even a single tantrum, you were so co operative with the doctors and almost everyone said that they haven't seen a child like this cooperative. They took out their stethoscope and you would start taking deep breaths before they even told you to do so. They got the torch out and you would get your ears towards them and the best was when they got the stick you stuck your tongue out. One pro active patient we got here.
It''s been a week now and she is off antibiotics , the cough has settled down too.The only silver lining is that it's building up your immunity system but I am so praying and hoping it to be the last for this season.

Our little tribute to Lord Krishna on his Birthday!
9:21 PM
It wasn't too long ago when we celebrated Lord Krishna's birthday with these two being tiny. I still remember the first time we dressed them up two years ago, they had no idea what was happening and to get these two in sync seemed like a HUGE task. Look at them now... not just that they loved getting dressed up but they actually got into the real act of playing their characters. These are probably the cutest pictures that my camera ever clicked!!
The most handsome Krishna full of confidence holding on to his Radha like he totally owns her and the gorgeous Radha shying away to glory :)
Just the final touch ups madam !!
I remember how William Wordsworth once describes the Daffodils in one of his poems.... A sight that would stay in his memory forever... I feel like I finally had that moment in my life because I would never be able to witness this kind of beauty, innocence and purity ever.
This was them two years back...
When did you two become this big. Where does all the time GO!
The look on Krishna's face then
and NOW..
They were just a natural when it came to posing and such happy babies!!
Krishna must have cracked a joke to get her Radha into splits :)
I am not sure whether you will love us or hate us for doing this to you when you grow up , that time will tell but what I can tell now is that you both make us so happy and we really thank you for that..
My Radha you have grown and how)
Life will show us the good and bad, but whenever I will see these pictures I will know that Life is good!
Our Snow season!
12:02 AM
You reach this place and your eyes light up.... it's everything that you can wish for ... the mountains all snuggled up in a blanket of pristine white snow.
Mahi was having a look at that much snow for the very first time and after we had our first round of toboggan slide she wanted to just relax and have a calmer touch and feel of the snow... the adrenaline rush is not for my delicate darling.
All of us soaking in the very last minutes of the sun..
Our very own snow man!! construction courtesy ( anonymous) .... Accessorized by Us!!
Mahi's mitts were quite lose and kept coming off so daddy and mommy gave her one each of their gloves and hence the " Big Hand" ... had only heard of the " Big Foot" in the snow until now :)
These two went on their first holiday when Mahi was 2 months and Adi was 13 months . Look at them all grown up ... enjoying!!
The boys getting ready with their toys!!
And then there was an attempt to kill the snow man!!
