A Day in the Life!!
9:54 PM
I thought of doing a post on how a normal day in mahi's life goes by. It does vary sometimes but this is what it looks like most of these days.
*9am-9.30am- Waky waky!!with the cutest smile ever and as soon as I pick her up she lazily keeps her head on my shoulder and laze around for a couple of minutes until its time for her teething medicine. We then have 15 minutes until we can eat after that medicine so we do the diaper change and prepare the food.
*10am- Breakfast! For morning we generally have our cereal with a mashed banana (which we love) and gobble it down while watching Play school on the TV. She loves watching "Bananas in Pyjamas" (coordinates with the breakfast, hahah!!)
*10.30-11.30am-Plays with her toys and follows me wherever I go.
*11.30-2.00pm -Nap time which happens while taking feed. This is the time when mommy gets to have a hot cup of tea. Also, this is when I get time to do some laundry, cleaning around and Blog writing.
*2.00-4.30pm-She then wakes up all all fresh and in her ready to rule the world mode. This is when she has her lunch( rice mixed with lentil and lots of vegetable). Also for dessert she has the apple and pear mix( this keeps her motion good).
*4.30-5.30pm- Goes again the sleeping beauty for her one hour nap while taking feed.
*5.30pm -9.00pm- This is when daddy comes home and she is all over the place....happy ,active and adventurous. This is when mum gets to have her evening tea relaxed and prepare dinner.
We all then do some TV watching, feeding dinner which is normally rice and lamb/chicken.
*9.30pm - We get into the bed around 9.30pm but don't sleep off immediately. This is the time when she is the most active and excited(probably because daddy is there). We play with her, make video of her, to send to the grandparents( yes! it's mandatory to send two videos everyday)
-To get this hyperactive girl to sleep I then sway from side to side while she keeps on mumbling until I see those eyes get heavy and then they adorably close (not until midnight) and she gets into her dreamland. She is not an early to bed early to rise kid ( guess she has gone on me). I am trying to get her routine streamlined and hoping we get there soon.
