A Day in the Life!!
9:54 PM
I thought of doing a post on how a normal day in mahi's life goes by. It does vary sometimes but this is what it looks like most of these days.
*9am-9.30am- Waky waky!!with the cutest smile ever and as soon as I pick her up she lazily keeps her head on my shoulder and laze around for a couple of minutes until its time for her teething medicine. We then have 15 minutes until we can eat after that medicine so we do the diaper change and prepare the food.
*10am- Breakfast! For morning we generally have our cereal with a mashed banana (which we love) and gobble it down while watching Play school on the TV. She loves watching "Bananas in Pyjamas" (coordinates with the breakfast, hahah!!)
*10.30-11.30am-Plays with her toys and follows me wherever I go.
*11.30-2.00pm -Nap time which happens while taking feed. This is the time when mommy gets to have a hot cup of tea. Also, this is when I get time to do some laundry, cleaning around and Blog writing.
*2.00-4.30pm-She then wakes up all all fresh and in her ready to rule the world mode. This is when she has her lunch( rice mixed with lentil and lots of vegetable). Also for dessert she has the apple and pear mix( this keeps her motion good).
*4.30-5.30pm- Goes again the sleeping beauty for her one hour nap while taking feed.
*5.30pm -9.00pm- This is when daddy comes home and she is all over the place....happy ,active and adventurous. This is when mum gets to have her evening tea relaxed and prepare dinner.
We all then do some TV watching, feeding dinner which is normally rice and lamb/chicken.
*9.30pm - We get into the bed around 9.30pm but don't sleep off immediately. This is the time when she is the most active and excited(probably because daddy is there). We play with her, make video of her, to send to the grandparents( yes! it's mandatory to send two videos everyday)
-To get this hyperactive girl to sleep I then sway from side to side while she keeps on mumbling until I see those eyes get heavy and then they adorably close (not until midnight) and she gets into her dreamland. She is not an early to bed early to rise kid ( guess she has gone on me). I am trying to get her routine streamlined and hoping we get there soon.

NINE MONTHS!!
7:21 AM
Monthly Stats:-
Weight:-7.5kg
Length:-71.5cms
By now Mahi has spent the same amount of time on the outside as on the inside. I love you to the moon and back sweet girl, but can you pretty please with sugar on the top stop growing up so darn fast?
I have just no idea where all these months have gone.It seems surreal!! The day starts and goes and I have almost the same routine everyday apart from the weekends when daddy is home. It's just an amazing feeling to see something that you made grow so wonderfully in front of you. Seriously! I am not trying to sugar coat it but being a mum is simply the most beautiful experience. Not saying easy!!
When she wraps that tiny little arm around my neck and rests her head on my shoulder it feels like the most fulfilling moment and I am seriously left to think if I was actually carrying soo much love in my heart.
So many changes in this little girl this month.Though she had started to pull up on everything in the eighth month she is now perfecting being more stable with as little support as possible. Sometimes she is on her feet and only just touching the support.
My cute lill monkey bum!!
She is quite a vocal kid with a super commanding voice. She always tries to initiates a conversation but ends up screaming at the person in front of her because they hardly understand what she is saying..... it totally annoys her!! ( but baby you doing no good to mama's ears)
We have this huge fresh food section open in the mall right next to our house .We decided to go and have a quick look on the weekday. They had set up this very cute corner for live cookery shows running every morning and that's when an idea struck my head.. So on the weekend we got mahi in her chef dress again and this is what we got.
.
We go to the mall every now and then. She has totally become my shopping bud and is generally quite patient. The best part is we live so close to the mall that we rush back as soon as she starts to fuss.
Having a little play in the parents room after a feed while mum can finish with her coffee.
Daddy's Girl!!
9 Month updates from her
What fun are these two feet!! having a ball to be able to stand on them and never ever want to touch that bum down again :) My life has been going great apart from a few things :-
a) WHY AM I MADE TO SIT !!!!!!!
Apart from that everything is just lovely :-
- I have learnt to clap and wave a bye and it always puts a smile on my face when I see myself doing it in the mirror. I can also see mum and dad enjoying it a lot.
- I love to play this game with mum where everytime she opens the bedroom door I give it a push with my hand standing in my cot. She again opens it making a funny sound and that totally splits me in a laugh.
-I am crawling even faster now and mum and I reach places almost together now. She keeps putting me back like a zillion times in the dining room when she is cooking. All I want is to give her a hand. I find that a lill rude but I guess she will give up one day and just let me be.
-I love calling out to people I see from my window. I do get a few waves sometimes but its just too much fun.
- I love to sleep twice during the day but its even better when I can snuggle with mum and sleep. I generally sleep on the bed with her and wake up in my cot. MAGIC!!
-I am only able to hear dad around three times during the day but can see him only in the evening. He keeps calling out for me and I even respond in a " hmm".
- I love my bath session in the evenings and like the gentle way with which my dad dresses me up.
- I eat well and loving the lamb these days. Also love my fruits and veggies.
-I am getting cheekier day by day thats what my mum says and thats when I give her the naughty eyes.
In short Life is still good!! Now over to mum
All I have to say is :-

Three happy years!!
7:58 PM
Last month was our third wedding Anniversary and it felt just too special with mahi celebrating it with us this time. Daddy made a reservation in the same restaurant where we went for our first. It's one place you literally feel on top of the world. The views are breathtaking and just a perfect place to be on your special day :)
Our journey so far..
What an incredible evening!!

Growing up!!
12:57 AM
We still haven't made it to the zoo.. It's been a lazy winter month, where all we did was soaking in the sun and staying warm and cozy indoors. My little monkey is all over the place now... pulling up on any and everything therefore we thought it was time to get her a walker and God! she loves it.....
Also, now that she can crawl on her fours I have a follower and I am never out of company may it be in the kitchen or the washroom...
The sad part is that I don't see a baby anymore. She is this little girl with a mind of her own. Who knows what she wants and how she wants. What's Commendable is her sense of awareness and balance. Now that she has started to pull up,I haven't yet seen her banaging on to things. She is very careful with her moves and the most adorable part is how she has to look back for me after every few crawls she takes.

The hiding place!!
My baby's personality has started to show quite distinctively and so far I see a happy calm and quite an independent girl.
Some of the pictures from eighth month...
Morning Bliss!!!
