The baby needs a break!

After having worked  hard for nine months on the inside and then two months of coping up with the outer world, my baby definitely deserved a vacation.

What other nicer way to spend a family holiday on a rocking Island and so we all headed to the Tangalooma Island Resort.

It was a nice boat ride to the island from Brisbane and we all spent most of the time on the deck enjoying the pleasant breeze.

Mahi slept all through her way and woke up with a big smile as soon as we reached Tangalooma!

We were going as a big group so we decided to book a beach front villa. It had such awesome views from the top deck which made the feeding sessions quite interesting.

The island was jam packed with activities and we started with it from the very next day.

Off for Quad biking !!

Kayaking!

Mahi gave us all the time to get to the activities. All she needed was a good cuddle a good feed and a nappy change. That would take her to deep sleep and that is how I would find her on return.

Then there was SEGWAY, which both mums, enjoyed the most ...

Off goes the gang!

 Mum totally enjoying the ride!!

While everybody was away, me and mahi got some alone time and made the best of this time by getting some nice shots ....

Quite a poser we got there!

We left for Dolphin feeding at night. It was the first time I went that close to these amazing creatures and also held a fish.....

We had Mahi go in the pool for the first time the next day and it was nice to see her all happy about it...

Ready for para-sailing!

The best moment was to fly 100 meters with Kalyan by my side. Everything was so pleasant around and it felt just too peaceful.

Him NEXT!!

And off you go !

Higher Higher Highest!!

Then there were lots of other games which kept us entertained.....

This is where the boys were found every evening .....

EXHAUSTED!!

Like all good things come to an end so did our vacation :( A few shots taken before we left the island)

All of us!!

Bye Bye!! you sweet retreat. Will definitely miss the evening views from the villa........

Shall visit again soon!!

It's Christmas!!

We had a great Christmas with family. The tree was already up when we reached Brisbane. There was so much love and such fun just being together. We got Mahi's first picture with the Santa. It was a unique North pole theme which looked very different in a good way.

As we were leaving for our holiday destination on the Christmas day we decided to open up our presents on Christmas Eve.

Christmas feels so much more special with the grandparents around!!

Kalyan and me being the youngest in the family were anyways spoiled by our sisters. I am so afraid of how much would Mahi be pampered to be a spoiler. Meet Team 1 ( Team Brisbane) other three teams yet to meet. I would definitely have to be a strict mom to keep her on track.

The two darlings of the house!!

All Smiles :)

All girls posing!

Had an amazing first Christmas :)

A Warm Welcome!

We reached Brisbane to spend the Holiday season with the rest of the family and was totally surprised by the sweetest welcome for Mahi...

Then there were candles lit to make her name. Isn't that cute :)

And never to miss Aunt Shubha's delicious apple cake ...yumm!!!! She had baked two cakes and even that did not seem to be enough. Simply amazing!

We waited for mahi to wake up as she was deep into her sleep. She would definitely acknowledge, cherish and reciprocate to all this love she is getting  by the most loving family that she has.

Finally she was up and we changed her into a nicer dress for this special occasion.

All set to cut her welcome cake. Bujji di helped her do the honors....

 The moment is captured !

Feel totally blessed to have a family this sweet! No better place than home sweet home :)
