You have always talked and behaved ahead of your age but in three and a half years you qualify for a  a seven year old. Your reasoning and your arguments make so much sense and are so adorable . 

You are so entertaining and making people laugh is your fave sport these days. Your sense of humor is absolutely outstanding.

You love making your nana laugh and keep repeating  the actions and say things that get her in splits. The other day just before I was putting you to bed , you went " Mamma! I love making everyone laugh" .. i feel proud to hear such things from you. 

The kind of questions you ask me leave me in awe. So you must have heard of the word "cheating" in school the other day and asked me .. "Mommy, What does cheating mean? I explained that when you do or say something which is not true and right is cheating... a couple of hours later  you  hid under the chair and said " I am not here " and when I tagged, you came out and asked with such innocence  "was this cheating mommy?" ,to which I explained that no it was Joking. So nowadays if you do something, you would always ask if it is cheating or joking?" My clever clogs!

Craft work is your favorite thing ever.... cutting , pasting , coloring and stamping keeps you enough busy for a couple of hours.  

We have this very sweet boy Anik  as our neighbor here and these kids get along really well. I usually play along and we usually do a role play from Peppa pig where I become madame Gazelle , Mahi becomes Peppa and Anik becomes George.... and we do lots of craft work thereafter. It's just so easy to make kids listen to you if you get involved ... He only calls me Madame Gazelle now and I love it.... 

Sometimes when I observe them play from a distance ,I can't't believe the things that they say... The other day I heard him tell Mahi" We should not waste things" then Mahi goes " yes! because if we do will have nothing left" ... they behave so grown up.. 

Swimming is a hit and a miss this Season as you are not keeping quite well. But you love it soo much and the days you can do it makes you soo happy. We are living in one of the best suburbs of Canberra and every thing is so convenient and accessible. One of the best sports centers in Australia is just across the street from us, which makes life so simple.

And then of course , you finally got smitten by Shopkins..Phew!! it's one waste for money but then you go " Please mommy , please please please, I promise I promise( she probably doesn't have the concept of promise right but she knows it's an important word and uses it very liberally) , please can i have shopkins" 

And of course when nanu is around you get whatever you want...

Our night times are sooo much fun these days.... every night Mommy , nana and nanu witness a great show by Mahi.... Nana holds the pretend curtain and go " Ladies and gentleman please put your hands together for this beautiful performance by Mahika" and then Mahi dances so beautifully on  one of her fave songs ..her playlist has three fave tracks- Cheap Thrills, Love you Zindagi and Udi Udi jaye from Raees.

Once the performance is over and  I ask her to  sleep , she goes " But we did not do counting".             That's kind of  a night ritual these days ... she counts until 100 with nanu and nana, gives them goodnight kisses, some very tight hugs and then comes to her room. The bond is amazing and so thick that  she calls my mom her mom and me her sister these days... 

Pulled a heart sticker from the wall, gave to Nana and goes " I Love you soooooooooo much"
