Mister Maker came to town

I owe to this man big! he is probably the reason that Mahi knew all her colors and shapes right when she was 18 months. A UK based guy who entertains kids by teaching them Art and Craft is what Mahi started watching when she was probably 8 months old.

We were quite thrilled to know that he was coming all the way to Australia and will be hosting a show in Canberra.... We waited no long to book ourselves in for the show and when I broke the news to Mahi she went " Yippee YO Yipee! "

Here we go again!! Mommy and Mahi's DOF ( Day of fun)

After the show we decided to have a leisure walk around the city and everything was going great!! .....until!!

I have a great shopping companion... always keeps me entertained!!

Until we found this Hulk Rock sculpture which my baby was adamant to move.... there are times in parenthood when you are feeling so amazing about everything and just a second later everything seems to fall apart......  so she tried and tried and tried and I just sat in peace watching her until she began to swell up followed by a heavy pour...

There got be a way to move the damn thing!!

Well! this rock cost me a barbie and two donuts to get her back to her normal self.....

We decided to take a bus instead of cab on our way back because Mahi had never sat on a bus ever since we moved to Canberra... and the views are quite lovely... for once I was right and she enjoyed the bus ride a lot, not sure of the co-passengers because lill explorer got excited over every little thing that she saw and made sure everyone knew of it.

we came home all exhausted and headed for a nap !! Woke up all fresh and pretty just like always ...

Sydney Trip Jan 2017

Who knew we would have to visit Sydney as tourist after having lived there for 5 years, but it did happen.... we had a quick three day in Sydney to show the grandparents around who missed the city trip when they had last come during mahi's birth. We took this as a good opportunity to relive our memorable times in this city.

The highlight of the trip was the BIG BALL BEACH... A big pit with 1 million soft white balls was made for the kids, parents and grandparents to enjoy...
It was so tiring but so exciting at the same time!!

All of us were starving after two hour of playing. The child inside came alive and we all enjoyed as much as mahi did.
