Mahi's monthly summary( August)

You are growing up my girl and with all the girly sass and bling!!

Colors are that you love and if that was possible you would go paint the sky pink..

You have a charisma to your personality and I am so proud of the way you talk.. it no more feels like I am talking to a baby... you are almost about to be a THREEnager and you give crisp and clear arguments now.

Some days are like if mommy has been hit by lightening because even if I let you do what you want the after cleaning is more work than building a castle. I know you love your explorations and want to try out every new thing that comes your way so mommy would let you for now....

Trying on mommy's makeup ! makes one thing clear that you will never end up being a make up artist probably only for the zombie movies.. ( mean mommy)

We work on different textures and do a lot of stamp painting these days ... you like the potato and carrots but not to eat only if a stencil is carved out of them.

My Oh My!! look at you not even three yet .... what would you pose when you turn thirteen!!

We follow a bath routine for the dolls almost everyday and these little barbies must have consumed more shampoo than all three of us combined this month...

You are still thick with DAD! what you are with him around is such a well behaved  girl that I don't see often when we two are alone.

Miss Sunshine loves to dress up and now she even knows how to accesorise. If they don't match they just don't !!

We packed up to see this firework festival the other day and until we reached the venue you were all so excited .... once the fireworks started you chickened out. I won't call you a dare devil because you are just the opposite. You like to play it very safe... anything that doesn't look, sound or feel normal isn't for you.

When you home you take very long afternoon naps sometimes even for three hours... but in school you are still up an awake for the entire day.

Our night routine is still the same... bath, brush , story time and cuddles...  you being miss chatterbox still go on and on talking about everything that happened during the day but eventually when fueled out those beautiful little eyes shut and take you to the dreamland.

Some really cute events that I would like to quote:-

1 . Mahi in the mall" Mommy please can I get the shopkins"
Mommy " No baby they are just silly, they don't make sense"
Mahi" Mommy! But I like Silly, they make me laugh"
(Mommy could't argue any further but no shopkins anyways)

2. Mommy showing pictures to mahi with her baby bump.
Mahi" Mommy why are you holding your big tummy"
Mommy" Because when you were inside you kicked a lot baby"
Mahi" Why did I kick"
Mommy" You tell , you should know the answer, you were the one doing it"
Mahi" That's because I really wanted to come out and I would cry so much inside"

3. Before going to bed after a school day
Mommy " Mahi did you have fun in the school"
Mahi " No, I missed you"
Mommy" What did you do the whole day"
Mahi" I cried and cried and cried , then you came to pick me up"
( Seriously, is it all that she ever does there...makes me nervous)

4. Mahi riding her bike and screams  " You dla yooohooo"
Mommy" What do you think you are doing screaming so loud"
Mahi" Wait mommy, I am listening to my echo"

These are just a a few of very recent ones at the top of my head, you talk a storm.... endlessly!! I love the way you give arguments, those are never cranky or just high pitched, like toddlers do. They are very well thought well spoken ones that leaves mommy convinced.

Fathers day special!!!2016

Fathers day is just a small attempt from us to let daddy know how proud we are of him and so glad to have him in our life.  Our baby is so blessed to have you as her father!! She will never have to question your commitment towards family and would always know how very proud you are of her.

To my fave father and daughter duo... here is special tea party just for you two, enjoy...

This girl had such great fun sipping tea with daddy ......  We packed up and sat in the car when mahi goes " I had so much fun today mommy"

We Kicked off daddy's day with a hot breakfast and opening the presents ( Mahi was too curious that we didn't even let him finish food)

Mahi's  hand print remodeled and framed.... It looks all neat now but the behind scenes are a nightmare for a mum.

Here's a little glimpse of it!!

And some special coupons for the DADDY!!

We were spending this special day with a few more dads, so got all propped up

You definitely have him wrapped around your finger ...
