Rumblings of the week :)

Winters have set in full swing. So now we snuggle more, cuddle more and drink lot of hot teas and Hot chocolates.... Winters are like home to me so I always enjoy them...

We went to see Mahi's playschool before we closed the deal and we loved . It is walk able distance from home therefore on our way back  we came slow and easy admiring all the Autumn beauty around..... I have to admit that Fall is my second fave season!!

Weekends are quite indoors as well because of the chill so we start with having a hearty breakfast at Shingle Inn's and head to play zone for some kiddie fun....

We understand that the playzone is for Kids but Me and kalyan get so excited there that in a couple of years Mahi will be telling us to relax and behave there...

This time while mommy was getting her nails done my twelve year insisted that she would like to get her nails done as well and when asked to choose a color she picked up a green..

Like diamonds are for the lady, play doh is for my little girl... She just loves every second that she spends with it and the running commentary that she gives with it is just soo adorable... probably trying to pull up a You tube play doh video, the way they walk you through each step .... She has been looking at this set on you tube for a while now and we thought of surprising her with it... Mahi's reaction " Thank you daddy and Mommy for the play doh... i am so acited... it's the you tube one"

Afternoon nap times have become so interesting these days in our princess sleeping bag and mom gets some TV time ..yippee!!

Wakes up to playtimes until daddy comes back home :)

So many kisses from Daddy dear on return :)

Daddy and Mahi having a chill on the kitchen shelf  on a Friday eve:)

Mommy might be buried under this pile of unfolded laundry :(

Showered .. squeaky clean waiting for dinner before my princess ends her day...

You make our life so interesting and meaningful that I would never want change a thing about how life is.

Mommy's home todd fun school!!

Mahi will start preschool next month and will be going only two full days so we thought of having some warm up exercises and hence we decided to start our Mommy home odd school at home .We learn, create and do activities...  I am suppose to call Mahi "Peppa" and she calls me " Madam Gazelle"

Our three activities for the day :-

1. Identify and Match the Alphabets
2. Color with pastels
3. Name all the animals in your collection

 1. Identify and Match the Alphabets

She loved this exercise and I was quite amazed with her sitting capacity... She finished it well!! and with every letter that she put correctly she did a lill victory cheer " Yeah!! I did it!

2. Name all the animals in your collection

We got her these wooden animals for her second birthday and her grandparents taught her almost all the animals but with all the shifting these were hidden down in the dumps and I finally could get it all sorted while organizing her playroom...  Could not believe that even after two months she remembered almost all......  We will just have to keep adding more of the animals in our collection!!

3. Coloring with pastels

Absolutely loves the colors and could go on and on coloring.... It was a new texture of color and she seemed to have enjoyed it thoroughly.... Also she learnt a new word " Textures" while using these..

It's just getting so much more fun now and Mahi is getting so serious about the "School" part that today she wanted her school bag and wanted to get dressed...

We started school and decided on having an art and craft day.. we had collected so many toilet rolls and gift paper rolls so we thought of finally creating something that I had pinned on Pinterest long back....

She has recently discovered glue and loves it soo much that all that she ever wants is to glue everything!!

Got made a pair of binoculars and an organizer...

My reward was when she said" Mommy you made butiful binoculars for mahi" ... Totally worth it ...

We are having soo much fun creating and mahi definitely is getting in love with the whole idea of going to school!!
