Little Window To Our World : June 2015

I tried really hard not to start by mentioning how amazed I am with the time flying so quickly but I couldn't help. Only three more "monthly blogs" to document before you turn two ( Guess it's time to get the party decor out).

We left Sydney on the day you turned nineteen and now you have become an absolute new version of yourself in just a month ( has to be the India effect),

Not that you were any less naughty before but here you have achieved new levels of crazy naughty. Has to be all the love, attention and pampering that you are getting . One thing is for sure that I will be taking back a little BRAT!!

When did you learn to pose like this??

EATING:- We got you off feed this month ( details in a separate blog) and it was possible only here because of so much support around. It has lead to better eating and sleeping routines. You are also eating your fruits and salads.
Your day starts with a good breakfast( egg,porridge with crushed almonds and lots of fresh cream) followed by fruits (mango,watermelon,leeches, papaya are your fave).
In lunch we have started putting your high chair next to ours and you eat so well watching us all eat ( one parantha,vegetable and curd). In the evening while we have our tea we give you milk with a quick dip of tea( well, that's the only way you like it). Dinner is served at 7.30 pm and we let you watch cartoons while eating ( you eat rice with all vegetables, pulses and curd again).

All meals are followed by strawberry ice cream to which you call " AMEEEEA" ... Don't ask me why because I have no clue!!

Guess who never goes out of Lolly pops !!! NAAAANU
You pull him by his finger till the cupboard door where he has his little treasure and then go on repeating " Poppy Pop"......" Poppy Pop"..." Poppy Pop"...

That's the grin " MISSION ACCOMPLISHED"

Don't tell mommy...

SLEEPING :- You wake up at exact 7.30 am and I am so precise about it because that's when mommy's massage lady comes. Thanks to nanya who looks after you and lets mommy get her massage in peace. You sleep for sharp 2 hours in the afternoon and that's the only nap you take before you doze off around 8.30pm after a nice bath.

PLAYTIMES :- You being little are quite adored by the big kids in the block and our evening play sessions are so much fun. You get lots of attention and it makes you shy.You still love balls out of all the toys and want to own all.....

LIKES :-

- You have developed a very strong liking for Kajal( your caretaker) and she loves you a lot too. You would go on calling her name " KADAL"

- You love ICE CREAM " AMEEEA" and have to have it after meals

- You get so excited when you see kids in the park and keep saying" GUMI GUMI" which means "take me for a stroll"

- You like your nanu too much and keep calling out for him " NAAANU".

- Love playing with kids in the park

- Love our shopping sprees

DISLIKES:-

- You hate to be fed after you have said " ENUN" which means " Enough"

- Hate to be taken out of bath.

Mommy has been out a lot to get her work done these days and you are home with nanya and kajal. You are such a happy baby and do not bother anybody even when mommy and daddy are not around. Nanya and Nanu tell me how entertaining you are and how you make them laugh. Proud of you!!

THINGS I WANT TO REMEMBER:-

- To start with your vocabulary I don't think I will be able to pen everything down because you have become a parrot and repeat everything we say. Some of the things that I love how you say will be:-

* Poppy pop - Lolly po

* Paani - Water

* Nahi - NO

* Enun - Enough

* Naaanoo- Nanu

* Nanna- Nanya

* Kadal- Kajal

* Bheeya- Bhaiya- brother

* Ameeya - Ice cream

* Ameeya - Airoplane

* Hangi - Hanji - yes

* Bingi - To mom's bindi( the packet goes on her forehead all at once)

Apart from that :-

* You can count till 10

* You sing along the ABC song

* You sing twinkle twinkle, Wheels on the bus, Incy wincy spider , Johny Johny and Miss polly.

* You can open bottle caps

* You can peel fruits and eat

* You chant mantras with your nanya " Om bhuuuur bhuva tata" and you are very close to saying the rest.

With the best mom and Nanya in the world!!

I am sure i am missing so many things but the best is your smile and your laughter that can brighten any dull day!! You should know how lucky you are to have love all around you. I would always pray to lord to make you feel this loved all through your life. At the end of the day all you need is

" LOVE".

We have had a very happy childhood spending amazing times with our cousins and not even one vacation went without seeing them. Ever since Mahi was born I had been looking forward for her to meet the rest of the family and was quite thrilled that she could meet majority of very important people in our life.

Neelu atta visited us with family and we all had a great time together. Mahi loved all the attention she got from her Big brothers and we made some very good memories.

Boys will be boys!!

Kinshuk mamu is in the same city as us and its so much fun to see him every once in a while.Konark mamu made special effort to come all the way from Delhi to meet us during a weekend and so glad that we could meet. Such handsome mamus.

Silly us !

Shikhu masi visited us all the way from Delhi and showered me with soo much Love and spoilt me bad with so many gifts ! We are so so lucky to have you in our life. Preeetttyyy masi!

With Shikhu masi came fun for mommy. She has been missing on a lot of girl fun ever since I was born, so she got a two day freedom pass from nanya to go chill.

We also did a express meeting with Nazam and Sanjam Masi. Me and Illahi were in complete shock to see them behave like a teenage girls. I remember meeting everyone in Sydney just a year ago and its fun to be around them.

We met mommy's cousin brother and his gorgeous family. Mommy says they have a lot of memories from when they lived in Shimla.

Daddy's friend Nishi uncle came over with his gorgeous girl friend and coincidentally it was his birthday that day. We blew his birthday candles together and guess who got a present ....MEEE!!

Proud that we are of choti masi for making it through Civil cervices exam, we have been waiting to see her sitting on that chair.

She got to know we have arrived as she heard me scream through the corridors. She had a beautiful office and she had kept it quite well.

She had so many cookies for me, half of which i and some I fed to the clean floor. She even let me make a mess. When we left the place it was like hit by a storm.

Chotu masi is so cute and fun. Mom told me to behave in the office... Well! we all did behave, but exactly how we felt like....

Its's been such a pleasant, luxurious and fun vacation so far.. Sad that daddy had to leave us in a month and go back but it won't be long that we would join him home. Will definitely miss everything about India though...
