Daddy's Birthday!!

Mahi and I decided to surprise dad by a self created birthday card and so we got the wooden letters from the store and were ready for yet another photo shoot....

This is what we ended up making and he was soo happy to see it!

We had a ball of a time on dad's birthday. Though it was meant to be a surprise but damn! the bank updates that show on your phone now... the husband knows there is going to be a party when the wife spends a good chunk in the party store... Anyways!!

Had a great time doing the decorations with my friend who came to help in the morning with her
four month old. We worked in total harmony and so did the kids ...when one woke up the other went off to sleep. The time when we had both wide awake!!

You simply notice that there are a lot of things you can't do as before, after having kids... feel lucky if you can tick off  even half of the tasks in your daily "to do's"list. But again, having had kids should never stop mum's to not have a life... rather they are life boosters and should get you more excited about living big.

With Oscars happened in recent past I thought it would be exciting to try this theme for the birthday and it wasn't that bad an idea!

After a red carpet welcome we all headed to the opening event of the award function !! and i.e the cake cutting ..lol

Well it's my dad's birthday and I can sit wherever I wish!! Yes! even on the table :)

The gorgeous Red velvet cake!!

The nominees for tonight!

Another celeb joined us a little later towards the night but well right on time!

It was a great night with lots of stars around!

We were literally in tears laughing through the "Truth and Dare " game which almost narrowed down to "only dares" and doing crazy stuff in the middle of the night was absolutely what we all needed. It was then followed by the hilarious "thank you"  speeches on receiving the awards.....

Had a great night with a bunch of awesome people and then how could we be at the Oscars and not have a selfie clicked .....

F.I.V.E !!

Seriously! ...... where is the time running?
With mom dad gone I was sure it would affect me,but seems like mahi felt it too. She just didn't smile at all the entire day and seemed to be in no mood to play either. We miss them tons and looking forward to meet again soon.
Mahi is already five months and Gosh! she is some girl or what. One thing is for sure that she won't be easy to please. A very pleasant personalty though but would part with some giggles only when some serious effort is made.

Her monthly stats:-
Height:-  65cms
Weight:-  6.4kg

She has started to amuse me by doing something new every second day. A bit of her personality has also started to show and she seems to be quite patient because this girl doesn't even cry when she is hungry or needs a diaper change. All she does is a strange "coohing" and that's a signal enough to understand.

Also, these days whatever she grips, heads straight to the mouth..... has already begun sucking  on her toe....

Some more pictures from this month...

The Tummy Times!!

Babies day out with mom!

She is in my nieces childhood dress, which came all the way from US.Now want a picture of Arshia in this dress to put along.

My little Mousie!

And that's how I tuck my little baby to find her as following in the morning......

All Smiles :)

God Bless my sweet child and may this smile stays forever!! Life is so complete with you in it :)

"Good Byes" hurt the most!!!!

Mom and Dad left last week and the house seems so empty ever since. It was the most precious six months of my life where I couldn't have asked for more. This is the longest that I have stayed with them in the past 10 years. Mostly because I was studying and then working in a different city.

We spent the last weekend together, doing some shopping and raised our final good bye toast in TGI Friday's ( the boys  always loved it there)

We did a nice home cooked "farewell" dinner on the last night or as my husband precisely calls it a"Well Fare"dinner and baked my mum's fave cake with all the love that I could put into.

Mom and mahi just didn't want to sleep on the last day and obviously I had to capture these adorable moments....

It has never been and never ever will be easy to bid farewell with them ......sob!sob! Waiting eagerly to see them again .... love heaps!xoxo

Love you soo much Nanya and Nanu :)
